January 31, 2019: Support Specialist Admin Role
Support Specialists will now be able to edit comments and manage the People section of the app which makes the need for a "Moderator" role unecessary.
Based on customer feedback, we've determined this is more inline with what our users wish to accomplish on the platform with a basic user role.
For security purposes, any admin users with the "Moderator" role that still exist will be deactivated on January 31, 2019. They will be able to be reactivated by the account owner once a new role is chosen for them.
How will this affect me?
- If you are actively using the moderator role on your site you will be notified via email and instructed to switch those admin user roles to Support Specialist prior to January 31, 2019.
- Moving forward, the moderator role will no longer be an option for admin users.
