Questions answered:
1. Can I use the home screen to organize and feature different elements of my library?
Answer: Yes, you can use the home screen to organize your library and feature specific items. This functionality will soon expand to include the ability to feature community access groups and other products.
2. Are there any new widgets being introduced?
Answer: Yes, new widgets like text, button, image gallery, title, and video widgets are being developed. These will help you build a more dynamic landing page experience within your app.
3. Do changes in the app store require an update for users?
Answer: It depends on the type of change. If you’re altering screen layouts, such as adding more items or columns, these changes usually do not require an app update and will be visible instantly. However, adding new features or widgets may require an update.
4. How does the app experience differ for users who have already purchased courses?
Answer: The app experience is personalized based on what the user has purchased. If a user logs in, they will only see the courses they have access to, but the home screen setup will look the same for everyone.
5. Is the app just a mirror of the online experience?
Answer: While the app provides access to the same courses as the online platform, it also offers additional features. The branded app can serve as an acquisition tool, allowing you to sign up new users and engage existing members more effectively.
6. Does Apple take a percentage of sales made through the app?
Answer: Yes, Apple takes 15% to 30% of sales made through the app, depending on your enrollment in their Small Business Program. To minimize fees, it’s recommended to use the app for low-ticket offers and lead magnets, then drive higher-ticket sales through your website.
